Helping auditors move faster
Context
Rocket audits thousands of loans every week, but the tools auditors relied on were slow and fragmented. Between spreadsheets, scattered documents, manual tracking, and jumping between systems, everyday audits took longer than they should have and created unnecessary compliance risk
my role
As the Senior Product Designer, I led the redesign of the audit experience over four months. I partnered closely with research, product, and engineering to streamline workflows, improve visibility, and automate repetitive tasks with AI
Consolidating audit tools
We designed a new dashboard where auditors and team leads could quickly understand the health of their pipeline. We also brought tools like notes and status history directly into the auditing experience, making it easier to track progress and collaborate.
Reducing manual work with AI
We redesigned the audit experience with AI at the center. AI answers routine questions automatically, while a redesigned interface brings document management and issue tracking into one place. Together, these improvements helped auditors resolve issues faster and complete more audits every day.
