My role
I led the design and research of this project between March 2021 and June 2021. I worked closely with a Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and a great team of engineers. The goal was to build a digital authorization request form to give financial advisors the ability to make ongoing transfers for their clients.
Overview
Setting the stage
Altruist is an all-in-one platform for financial advisors to manage their business and clients. A core piece of an advisor's business is managing all transfers in and out of their client's accounts. Before this project, advisors were required get their client's permission for each and every transfer, or ask their client to initiate a transfer.
So, what's the objective?
Design a seamless workflow for advisors to request a blanket authorization from their clients to make ongoing transfers between accounts. This blanket authorization is known in the industry as a Move Money Authorization.
